Analysts predict that gold will reach $5000 this year. But the current sideswaying around $4700 will not go away until USA & Iran end their war. The current impasse between them is corroding the world economy day by day...Many are already half resigning to a global recession when they finally put down their arms. I think for all the trillions poured into the AI rush, the mega hyperscalers, chip companies are all keeping 10 fingers crossed...

Wonder how many analysts will now revise away their 6000/oz projection fir gold for year end? The risks of global recession are growing bigger with each day Iran bombs its neighborhood oil facilities.  The drag is making poor every one,  not to mention the ecological damage. Silver and other metals are suffering.  Only the factories are rejoicing.

I love Longbridge for community-building articles. Let's build a charity from Longbridge's members.  If each of us, minus those who suffer losses, donate some money, we can help the poor in Singapore (I'm in Singapore). The Fund can be grown by trading.
