The wheat market faced declines on Thursday, with Chicago SRW futures down 4 ¼ to 8 cents, KC HRW futures down 19 ½ to 21 cents, and MPLS spring wheat down 13 to 19 ½ cents. USDA reported 78,772 MT of old crop sales, the second lowest this marketing year, while new crop sales reached 187,538 MT. Algeria purchased 390,000 to 420,000 MT of wheat, and Russian wheat exports are estimated at 44.5 MMT for 2025/26. The French soft wheat crop is rated 80% good/excellent, down 1% from last week.
