Insurance funds continue to buy, increasing their positions in bank stocks
The latest information disclosed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange indicates that on February 6, Ping An Group, through its subsidiary Ping An Life, increased its holdings by 41.215 million shares of Agricultural Bank of China H-shares. On February 7, it continued to increase its holdings by 24.818 million shares of Postal Savings Bank of China H-shares and 4.2725 million shares of China Merchants Bank H-shares. Earlier, in mid-December last year, Ping An Group had already made significant investments in China Construction Bank H-shares and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China H-shares, with shareholding ratios exceeding 5% and 15%, respectively. Among them, the shareholding ratio of ICBC H-shares has been increased to over 17% before the Spring Festival. According to statistics, from December 18 last year to February 7 this year, Ping An Group, through its subsidiaries Ping An Life, Ping An Property & Casualty, and others, continuously increased its holdings in ICBC, ABC, CCB, Postal Savings, and China Merchants Bank H-shares, with a total expenditure of nearly HKD 10 billion, and the latest holding market value exceeding HKD 180 billion.
