Every economist expected MAS to tighten on Tuesday. It held — and the banks fell anyway, CoreWeave’s bonds slid to a 15% yield, TSMC printed a record quarter and still sold off, and one member explained why he closed a position that wasn’t broken.

Holding or walking away with losses all depends on how urgently you need the liquidity. My personal investment motto is to never actualised a loss due to market or news cycles, ride it out.

I am so concerned on the growing debt. Even though the debt is shown with high spending and low revenue, need to see all the available cash.

The local banks closed this week up and slightly stabilised after the mass selling last week. Can this momentum last towards earnings next month? Or will inflation and negative macro news cause their share prices to drop even further? Let's find out in the following 2 weeks.

TSMC predicts A14 to be a bigger node than N2. Every new node is now breaking records. TSMC's N2 node grew 3x q/q to $3B+ in 3Q26. The node also happens to be the first billion dollar opener for TSMC nodes when it hit $1B+ in 2Q26. That $1.0B was just 3% of wafer revenue vs 11% for N7 at its debut as TSMC's quarterly wafer base grew >4x during this time. Every generation now starts smaller in share and larger in dollars. N2's 14% jump over N3 is the biggest generational step in a decade.

I think inflation being sticky will allow more rate hikes in the future and may bring the market down more if the market has an additional rate hike compared to previously planned. DCA slowly and good luck.

TSM Rev. improving, margins slightly pressured; AAPL China AI to launch in Dec. |Daily News Recap

1015 | Dolphin Research Focus: 🐬 Macro/Industry 1) US Sep CPI rose 3.7% YoY and core CPI rose 2.6% YoY, both beating estimates. Market-implied odds of an Oct hike briefly hit 50%, the USD touched an 18‑month high, and UST yields moved higher.

TSM (Trans): Won't leave money on the table; aims to win every possible biz.

Q4 revenue guidance is $53.3bn at the midpoint (+14% QoQ), with full-year USD revenue growth around 44%. However, a steep 2nm ramp and dilution from overseas fabs push the Q4 GPM midpoint down to 66%, and the overseas dilution is expected to widen by 300–400bps over the next few years. The company is adding a second 3nm fab in Tainan and evaluating capacity expansion in Texas, noting that AI demand still far exceeds supply.
